Community Mothers Program

Community Mothers Program

What is the Community Mothers Program (CMP)?

Motherhood is a crazy ride! There are amazing moments, and really tough ones too.

That’s where our CMP comes in. The CMP is a one-on-one program offering support and assurance to new and expectant mothers across Cockburn and Kwinana.

Under the program mothers will be matched to a volunteer community mother who will be specifically trained by the Curtin University School of Nursing. The volunteer will support the mums on their journey, no matter what the circumstances are. All our mums are compassionate and have a desire to help new mums succeed.

“Being a mother is learning about strengths you didn’t know you had, and dealing with fears you never knew existed”. – Linda Wooten
