Co-Design Workshops

Coolbellup Community SChool 15 Waverley Road, Coolbellup

We are inviting you to be part of an exciting journey as we aim to bridge the communication gap between people with disability and the community through the development of an ‘all about me’ support app to accompany the recently developed ‘all about me’ support booklet. The ‘all about me’ support booklet, currently designed to support children, will be developed into an app to support anyone with disability to share information about their support needs, strengths, self-regulation skills and support network in a way that they feel comfortable with. The next step is to develop an app version of the booklet. In order to do this, we are holding a series of workshops where we invite people with disability, carers, parents of children with disability, education support workers and anyone who would like an input in the app to attend. Once finalised the app will be free for all people with disability to use. Service providers and government bodies are able to subscribe to Cérge (https://cerge.app/), which will help them to meet their DIAP goals and create more inclusive environments.
